Fashion designer Marc Jacobs was honored for his contribution to the industry during Paris Fashion Week which kicked off on Thursday. Jacobs, the creative director of French luxury label Louis Vuitton, was named a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters) in a ceremony in the French capital on Friday.
