Gisele Bundchen is in Spain right now, just off the coast on the island of Ibiza. She’s there to help promote her line of Vogue sunglasses. But all work and no play makes any supermodel a dull girl so in between work duties, Gisele found time to do a little bit of shopping.
Songstress Katharine McPhee is going to lend her pretty face to Neutrogena, endorsing their skincare products. She just signed a two-year contract with the company.
Runway model Jessica Stam explains how to walk like a model with the exaggerated striding to show movement of the clothing. It doesn’t really sound like rocket science when it’s put into words, but I still couldn’t do it in those super high heels.
The new Stella McCartney ad featuring model Amber Valletta is so sunny and tropical it makes me want to go buy some sundresses and a bikini so I can go hit the beach. This sort of ad is just what I need when Winter just won’t let go.
Supermodel beauty Elle Macpherson has been named as the new global face of Revlon. Aside from being gorgeous, this is what else Revlon’s CEO said about Elle:
“Elle’s special qualities as a businesswoman, beautiful and talented model, actress and mother represent the essence of the Revlon brand.”
So apparently Paris Hilton has a new shoe line out now to go along with her clothes and fragrance. Maybe that’s why she made a flub by saying how great the “country” of “West Africa” is. She’s clearly VERY busy thinking deep thoughts about shoes and has no time or space in her brain for Geography. That’s it, yes.
On the plus side, I’m a little pleasantly surprised to note that her shoes seem to be priced in a reasonably affordable range. I’m still cheap enough to hang out in Payless, but for a rich socialite who has no understanding of money, that’s not bad at all.
It’s being rumored that Tyra Banks is ready to walk away from America’s Next Top Model and will be spending more time on her talk show now. Apparently it’s due to some friction on ANTM.
OK! magazine reports that Banks isn’t getting along with photo shoot creative director Jay Manuel, and her days on the show could be numbered. “It’s gotten so bad that Tyra and Jay aren’t speaking,” an insider told OK! magazine. The selective silent treatment isn’t limited to Manuel, either. “Tyra barely interacts with the contestants and only wants to show up on judging day,” the source told the magazine.

It was still just a rumor last week, but People magazine has confirmed that Nicole Richie is definitely set to design a line of costume jewelry. She’ll be working with Mouawad, which is the same company that produced Heidi Klum’s jewelry line. Nicole said:
“It’s all costume jewelry. I like to play with jewelry and mix and match. [I’m working with] this really talented woman named Shelley Gibbs. She’s an artist and she sketches everything.”
She also mentioned that everyone she’s working with has been very laid back and understanding about her schedule as far as taking care of her baby Harlow is concerned so that she’s always free to slip back into Mom mode whenever she’s needed.
At only a couple of months post-partum I was so tired I forgot my own address when I tried to order pizza, so I’m amazed that Nicole is designing jewelry, good for her!
