According to Hip-Hop Crunch, Usher is ready to launch a lingerie line. While in Paris, Usher said, “You may have heard that I might be launching a lingerie line for men and woman. Comfort and intimacy is very important.” Well, hey, why not? Don’t women generally like to wear lingerie that is appealing to men? Who better than a man to design it then? I can’t wait to see Usher’s lingerie line!
It’s a shame that Sarah Palin can’t just do a catwalk routine in a swimsuit now like she did back in her pageant days - she might make people forget that her answers to questions like her foreign policy experience are totally whacked.
The economy my be plummeting in the U.S. and worldwide, but supermodel Naomi Campbell and her Russian businessman boyfriend Vladislav Doronin were spotted doing some shopping. For a yacht. Hey, you know, if you have the money, you may as well go ahead and spend it, it’s not like keeping it in the banks is the best idea these days! Check out the exclusive photos here.
The cover of the new issue of Details magazine features the Gossip Boys - the guys of Gossip Girls, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, and Penn Badgley. They talk about such fascinating things as their chest hair, and the removal thereof:
Ed on Penn’s chest hair: “Penn said he has to shave his chest hair because it’s threatening “Reeeaallly … Well, I think Penn’s chest hair may be more like a scaahf. It actually comes out of his neck! So maybe that’s why he has to cut it. Threatening? I don’t know what threatening hair would look like. We’d have to get Penn here to see!”
Rachel Bilson was at Macy’s in Aventura, Florida on Sunday to launch her new clothing line, Edie Rose. The line features junior sportswear including jeans, jackets, and knits. Rachel said, “I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously.” What’s extra nice is the most expensive piece of clothing in the Edie Rose line is only $49.50. The line, which is an offshoot of DKNY, will be available at department stores like Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.
(It’s perhaps ironic that the day she launches her own line, it’s the first time I recall ever detesting what she’s wearing. Usually, she looks absolutely fantastic. Ah well.)
PopCrunch has a great collection of t-shirts that are amusing (assuming you have a perverted sense of humor like I do) but which are best avoided if you’re planning to have dinner to meet your girlfriend’s parents for the first time. Check them out and make sure you’re not wearing them before you shake her dad’s hand.
Paris Hilton will be debuting her fifth perfume, Fairy Dust in October, but she has her print ad all set up already. It asks the question, “do you believe in fairy tales?” and features Paris dressed up as a fairy, fluttering by. I can’t decide if it’s kind of cute or just really cheesy. The perfume itself contains a blend of pink peony, orange blossom, gardenia and vanilla creme fragrances, which sounds really nice and I’ll be interested in checking it out once it hits stores.
Poor Renee Zellweger. I’m a pretty clumsy person myself so I can just imagine how horrified and embarrassed she must have been when she put on her beautiful blue dress before heading out to the red carpet, only to get it caught in the lawn mower. Such a shame!
