Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin are donating some of their top shoe designs to the 7th On Sale Charity Auction, an annual event where thousands of items from the world’s best designers are sold to raise money for AIDS charities.
The sale begins November 15, 2007 with a black-tie gala in New York, followed by three days of shopping open to the public, November 16-18, in New York.
“Its 20 years and more then 20 million deaths later and still no cure,” said sponsor Kenneth Cole. “Forty-two million people are infected with HIV/AIDS and the largest statistic of all is “0.” That is the number of people who have been cured. AIDS is not going away and it is important that the fashion community, again, be leaders in this tragic battle: to know, prevent, cure and care”

Great to see the big boys giving something back given the shocking prices of some of their shoes.
