People may not remember the name Katrina Darrell from this season’s early American Idol competition, but mention her nickname – “Bikini Girl” – and everyone knows who you’re talking about.

Bikini Girl/Katrina is desperately clinging to her 15 minutes of fame by showing off the body that helped her through the first few rounds of American Idol until her voice no longer kept up with her abs.

Katrina was invited to be a hostess for the Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Las Vegas this weekend. She showed off her well-known body in a vivid red bikini top, ultra-short denim skirt, and high heels.

She was more than happy to tell the press about the various opportunities that have come her way since being booted off Idol.

“[I’ve had] a lot of different offers, like Vegas promotion offers. Of course Playboy has called. I wouldn’t say no, but at the same time I don’t want to stunt my career by jumping into that too soon and be labeled once again as ‘just a body.’ But I don’t knock it.”

She doesn’t want to be labeled as “just a body”? Listen. When you audition for a singing competition in an itty bitty bikini and the first thing you do after the show is to pose and preen in a little bikini top and a small piece of denim, that’s exactly what everyone is going to remember.
