Amy Winehouse is Karl Lagerfeld’s Muse
When I think of Amy Winehouse, the phrase “style icon” doesn’t immediately come to mind, but then again, I’m not fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, so what do I know?
Recently, Lagerfeld reportedly called Winehouse a “style icon,” compared her to famed actress Brigitte Bardot and supposedly admires Winehouse for her beehive - so much so that he recreated the updo on models at his recent Chanel show in London.
Says Lagerfeld of Winehouse:
“She is a style icon. She is a beautiful, gifted artist. And I very much like her hairdo. I took it as an inspiration. Because, in fact, it was also Brigitte Bardot’s hairdo in the late Fifties and Sixties. And now Amy has made it her own style. So, when I saw her, I knew it was the right moment. Amy…she is the new Brigitte.”

I cannot believe that Karl said that. Amy’s music is terrible (yes, it really is people) and she is the ugliest thing since Abraham Lincoln…i mean look at her… she’s a god damn idiot… seriously, God is looking down at her and shaking his head wondering why the fuck he made her… if she was not a “famous person”, she would be just another crack whore. I am sure that Karl does not see those types of people on the street and then says, “hey, that person is a style icon”
