Ashley Olsen showed off dark hair, dark make-up, and a sultry side for her photoshoot with V Man magazine.

Ashely posed for several stark contrast shots with harsh bright lighting on dark backgrounds, including a topless shot.

She did the interview with designer Marc Jacobs and opened up to him about how hard it is to differentiate herself from her twin, Mary-Kate Olsen.

She said, “We had to work through what’s special about us, and then the media had to work through it…I’ve never been one to engage the media to say that I’m different.”

I’m a big fan of dark hair, so I’m liking that part of the look, but the whole sexy thing never works for me with either of them. I don’t know why, other child stars have grown up to pull off the sexy look very well (hi Drew Barrymore), but the Olsen girls? Not so much.
