Bidding War Ensues To Sign Cheryl Cole As Cavalli Campaign Spokesmodel Fall/Winter 2010
Cavalli creative director Roberto Cavalli is locked in a ferocious bidding war to sign Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl Cole as the face of its new Autumn/Winter Collection, according to reports.

The Italian designer has reportedly offered the stunning Cole $2 million to take up the coveted role, but he’s facing stiff competition from two other labels who are also interested in signing her, London’s The Mirror said Thursday.
“Cheryl is a great brand icon. She is the Victoria Beckham for a new generation of women – but perhaps cooler and more streetwise than Posh,” an advertising insider blabbed to the tab. “She combines beauty, poise and elegance with warmth and a big personality. That’s a very rare combination and it’s easy to see why she would be an asset to any fashion brand.”
