Horizon Productions, Inc. announced on Thursday that this year’s controverisal halftime extravaganza will prominently feature only one advertiser, as opposed to the previous “Lingerie Bowl” broadcasts that have included 4-5 marketers from the fashion, automotive, dot com, film studios, consumer electronics, energy drink and video game categories. The halftime show draws more viewers than the game itself.

The super bowl XLII halftime alternative will air live from a “secret location” somewhere in Arizona, on Sunday February 3, 2008. The broadcast will be delivered via television, broadband and mobile with real-time MVP voting.  As always, viewers will be watching supermodels playing full-contact tackle football wearing barely-there bra’s and panties. 

Due to the commercial success of the Lingerie Bowl, Horizon Productions has formed the Lingerie Football League, which will be kicking off September 5, 2008 across ten major US markets. The LFL games will be played alongside the NFL season on Friday nights. The league as well as each of the ten franchises will be formally announced in March 2008.

Previous players of the Lingerie Bowl have included Angie Everhart, Nikki Ziering, Willa Ford, Adrianne Curry and Trishelle Cannatella
