The issue of People with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins, Knox and Vivienne on the cover sold a whopping 2.6 million issues, their fourth best-selling issue ever (coming in after the 9/11 issue, Princess Di’s death, and JFK jr’s death). The twins just edged out big sister Shiloh Jolie-Pitt whose debut photo issue sold 2.2 million. People also had a record-setting 6 million unique visits to their website upon the release of the cover image.
After three years of working together, design house St. John has decided to end their contract with Angelina Jolie who did many black and white campaigns shot by Mario Testino. The new ads will feature four new fashion models. The CEO doesn’t seem to have made the decision with any animosity, saying, “Three years is a long time to maintain any campaign, and we felt it was time to do something new and different.”
Even when she’s pregnant, Angelina Jolie can still manage to sweep in and take the number one spot in Glamour magazine’s 50 most glamorous women poll.
