It looks like OK! magazine has the secret to Britney Spears’ new slim style secret. Reforming her image, Brit is dressing better than she has for the first part of this year and if you’d like to emulate her new style, you can check out the magazine when it hits news stands to find out what the big secret weapon is - hint, apparently it has nothing to do with scary diet pills or liposuction!
Britney Spears may not be in the spotlight as much as she was a month or two ago, now that she seems to be working past her breakdown. However, the star can still draw a crowd of photographers when she does go out. Still a shopping fiend, Britney indulged in some quiet retail therapy, shopping at L.A.’s Tracey Ross boutique. Hopefully now that she’s apparently feeling better she’ll start wearing some better fashion choices.
Britney Spears decided to do some retail therapy after she found out the shocking news that 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn is 12 weeks pregnant. She hit up the Lisa Kline Boutique to drop some bucks. According to People Magazine the shop’s rep, Kate Diamond, said:
“She called us in the early evening and said she wanted to come shop for Christmas. She looks the best I’ve seen her in a really long time … She was really, really nice, saying, ‘Thanks, babe,’ ‘Yeah, babe.’ Everything was ‘babe.’”
(That’s the best Brit’s looked in a long time? Err… Maybe but that’s not saying much.)
In case you missed it, a few sources, including Pop Crunch, are reporting that Blender magazine is looking for a Britney Spears body double so editors will be able to replicate an old photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe in bed using Britney for the new shoot, but they think Britney may be too out of shape to pull it off, so they’re looking for a model who is slimmer so they can infuse Britney’s head onto the model’s body - or something like that.
Supposedly, an advertisement in Blender is calling for a body double for Britney:
“We are casting for a Britney Spears body double. You must have shoulder to medium-length blonde hair. This person must also be in shape…your face will not be shown in the final photograph/cover.”
According to OK!, Britney Spears is so upset and worried about her looks that a friend tells the magazine she’s going under the knife for a little nip/tuck of her own.
”She’s always worrying about what she looks like,” one friend of the “Toxic” songtress reveals to OK!. “She checks pictures of herself on the Internet every night and criticizes every single one.”
The insider also reveals that Brit had lip enhancement and forehead Botox on October 18th and plans on more, such as liposuction, work on her hips and thighs, a breast lift with change of silicone implants, a tummy tuck and work on her nose.
It seems Britney Spears has had a run-in with famed designer Louis Vuitton.
Vuitton has been granted a court injunction, which prohibits the European broadcast of her 2005 video “Do Something,” which shows Spears driving a pink Hummer decked out with a counterfeit Vuitton “cherry blossom” monogram dashboard. While Spears reportedly isn’t named in the suit, her record label, Jive, as well as Sony BMG and MTV Online have been slapped with hefty fines.
Producers have been ordered to pay $117,600.00 to Vuitton for damages to the Vuitton image, as well as being required to pay additional penalties of $1,470.00 per day if the video or it’s content isn’t removed from the Internet.

So Britney was out doing a little car shopping (like she needs another car? She can barely drive the few she already has) and went out looking like, well…this.
What I want to know is when you have as much money as she does (obviously she must have some spare cash laying around since she’s buying another car to add to her min-fleet), why would you want go out in public looking like you haven’t had a shower in days, haven’t washed your hair (or got new extensions) in months and you’re wearing a top that’s sheer enough to see your droopy goodness in a poorly fitting pink strapless bra? Hasn’t anyone told her that the sole purpose of a strapless bra is so it can be worn underneath pieces of clothing which are strapless and may require it - not paired up with a lightweight sheer turtle-neck that’s clearly meant for something more supportive underneath.
Ah Britney - so deserving of my choice for ”Fashion Flop of the Day” and in more ways than one.
