Christina Aguilera is featured in some new ads for Stephen Webster jewelry. The ads are gorgeous! She’s been friends with the jeweler for years and had a great time working with him. Apparently she was already four months pregnant by the time they shot the photos but with the angles, it doesn’t show.
Christina Aguilera may be busy with a new baby, but her jeweler friend Stephen Webster has been busy too, creating a new jewelry line inspired by the singer. The collection will feature sterling silver pieces with a variety of gemstones. In April we’ll get to see the ad campaign with Christina herself.
Christina Aguilera is one hot mama in the January issue of Marie Claire, which hits the streets on December 11th. She tells the magazine that her pregnancy came has a complete surprise to her and hubby Jordan Bratman:
“We were planning on starting to try after the tour. And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn’t know how much time it would take. You’ve heard it takes some time - except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here…I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?’”
She also says she didn’t announce her pregnancy to the world because she’s just not the type to do so:
“Because I hadn’t said anything, people thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that’s not the case at all. I just wasn’t commenting. I’m not being like, ‘Hey, everybody, I’m pregnant!’ I’m not that girl.”
She went on to say she believes she became pregnant while Jordan was visiting her in Georgetown on the U.S. leg of her tour. She still had a month of performing left and her shows were extremely physically demanding. She changed costumes 10 times, and of course, all in high heels.
“I was paranoid. There are so many things that could go wrong-somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall. There was no way in hell I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show.”
She wore a well-concealed heart monitor and didn’t want to announce her pregnancy during her ”Back to Basics” tour:
“I didn’t want to make the audience uncomfortable, like, ‘Pregnant lady onstage! Is she going to be OK?’ But I had to announce it to my band and my dancers, because I wanted to make sure they had my back.”

Christina Aguilera was the host of this year’s Rock the Vote party that launched the debut of the “Rock the Vote by Society” t-shirt line in Kitson’s boutique in Los Angeles.
While there, Aguilera reminded fans of the importance of voting:
“It’s important for me to come out and support such a cause that has encouraged so many young people to get out there and register to vote.”
Rock the Vote has partnered with MTV, Russell Simmons and CNN.
Christina Aguilera says she’ll wear her pumps for as long as she can while she’s pregnant with her first child:
“I’m always able to work my heels - I don’t care how big or small I am!”
It seems she’s also getting fashion advice from mom-to-be, Halle Berry:
“I just saw Halle and she said fashion is on our side. I think she is right. The empire cut is working for us right now!”
Christina Milian attended the Seventeen Jewelry Collection launch party at Ketchup restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday. Milian, who was one of several guests at Christina Aguilera’s baby shower earlier this month (where rumor has it that the color of the day was blue), spilled the beans to Us Magazine at the launch about the sex of the Bratman bambino:
“Her son is going to be pretty lucky because his mom…She’s just awesome! She is going to be a cool mom.”

A very pregnant Christina Aguilera shows up wearin’ the green at the launch of Rock The Vote 2008 in Beverly Hills yesterday.
Christina and hubby Jordan Bratman, who confirmed reports of her pregnacy earlier this month, held the first of three baby showers on Saturday at her home in Beverly Hills. Rumor has it that most of the gifts the couple have received so far have been blue - indicating that a little boy could be on the way!

Christina Aguilera was caught doing some late night shopping earlier in the week at Fred Segal. By the looks of the photos, a few things are certain:
I really love Christina - she’s by far one of my favorite fashionista’s because I love to see what she’s wearing, day in and day out and I especially like the retro fashions she sometimes wears because she’s one of the very few who can pull it off, but I’m not crazy about this late-night get-up.
