Rachel Bilson proved to be a great advertisement for her own Edie Rose line for DKNY when she attended the line’s New York launch at Macy’s - she looked absolutely cute beyond words. I’m really loving her syle.

Rachel Bilson was at Macy’s in Aventura, Florida on Sunday to launch her new clothing line, Edie Rose. The line features junior sportswear including jeans, jackets, and knits. Rachel said, “I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously.” What’s extra nice is the most expensive piece of clothing in the Edie Rose line is only $49.50. The line, which is an offshoot of DKNY, will be available at department stores like Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.
(It’s perhaps ironic that the day she launches her own line, it’s the first time I recall ever detesting what she’s wearing. Usually, she looks absolutely fantastic. Ah well.)

After the announcement came back in March that Rachel Bilson would be designing for DKNY, the ads are ready for launch. The junior sportswear line, Edie Rose, will be available in September at Macy’s, Dillard’s, and Nordstrom.

This is a happy day for me. Many times I have looked at Rachel Bilson’s personal style and thought if ever a celebrity should have her own fashion line, it’s her. FINALLY, she has teamed up with DKNY to design a junior line called Edie Rose. It will include jeans, jackets, and dresses. The line will hit stores in September 2008. I may have to make a trip out to NYC so I can buy it at Macy’s.

Get ready to see more of Kate Moss - especially if you’re a fan of Yves Saint Laurent and Donna Karan. Karan has just announced that Ms. Moss will launch the Karan Spring/Summer ad campaigns.
Karan recently told WWD:
“She’s wild and sexy and somebody who has the energy to hang out in the streets, to dance…A woman who would have lived in that rawness but with a polish at the same time. We went cinematographic. We wanted to tell a story and we wanted somebody who had energy, passion, sophistication and cool. You put it all together and it says ‘Kate’.”

Ali Larter (who looked like her cute dress was dipped in an inkwell), Rashida Jones, Christina Ricci, Marisa Tomei, Melissa George and Rumer Willis were among the celebs who turned up last night in the West Village to attend the gala for Donna Karan’s new fragrance, ”Delicious Night.”
The fragrance, says Karan, has been inspired by the “sexy buzz of New York City at night.”
Visit the DKNY website to order one - or all - of the fragrances in the collection.
