Leona Lewis, the rapidly rising British pop star, is apparently in the process of discussing possibilities to create a line of vegan fashion and accessories. She’s very pro-active in the protection of animals and never wears any leather shoes – after performing on American Idol last week she told the media that she was wearing cheap shoes because then at least she knew they couldn’t possibly be made of leather. She’s hoping that a full line of vegan clothing options will bring about more awareness to animal cruelty.

Maybe she should team up with Natalie Portman who has a really great line of classy vegan footwear.
