Patrick Dempsey was in Manhattan this week to launch his new fragrance, Unscripted with Avon. It apparently incorporates scents from cardamom, black peppercorn, fig and lavender. I’m not too sure about the fig, but the rest of it sounds nice, especially the black peppercorn. I’m going to take a look for it at stores to see if it’s a good fit for my husband. Jude Law has some new ads out for Dior Homme Sport, and he looks pretty manly in most of them.
The new print ad for Jessica Simpson’s new fragrance, Fancy is ready even though the perfume won’t be available until next month. Jessica said:
“With Fancy, I wanted to create a pretty fragrance, one that I could be just as comfortable wearing on the red carpet or every day with my favorite jeans. This is a special fragrance — personal, whimsical, playful and romantic. To me, Fancy is just that: fancy.”
Antonio Banderas launched his new fragrance last night, “Blue Seduction for Women”. It’s a light fruity scent with hints of violet, rose, and jasmine in it. I think it would sell really well if they put his face with that smoldering gaze he does so well right on the front of it.
Gwyneth Paltrow was looking very sleek at Bloomingdale’s to help launch the new Estee Lauder fragrance, Sensuous. Gwyneth is the fragrance label’s spokesmodel. The actress was a knockout in a white Jean Babtiste Vali dress with Yves Saint Laurent shoes.

Halle Berry was spotted looking sexy as she posed for cameras in Hawaii while filming the commercial for the new Coty fragrance. When she spoke about doing a perfume line, Halle said:
“For years I’ve created my own personal scent by mixing fragrances at home. I am passionate about this project as I’ve always wanted hands-on experience in creating a fragrance that is a true representation of me,” Halle has said. “Selecting a fragrance is a very personal choice and I am delighted to have this opportunity to express myself in a creative new way working with Coty.”
Kim Kardashian is putting out a fragrance so if you’ve ever wanted to smell just like a Kardashian. She said:
“It has always been a dream of mine to start my own perfume business, since I love to mix fragrances together and come up with new and different scents! It all started when my mom introduced me to famous perfumer…. She and I have been working together to create a scent that is uniquely me that I can share with everyone!”
She hasn’t yet mentioned what type of scent the perfume will have.
