H&M is ready to launch a new line - a cotton collection - and they’re teaming up with Rihanna, Timbaland, and Jade Jagger, among others. Once the collection is available sometime in February 2008, 25% of the proceeds from sales will go to HIV/AIDS charities worldwide. They’re hoping to raise both money and awareness about HIV/AIDS.
H&M has teamed up with Designers Against AIDS to launch a collection of clothing for men and women. It will feature celebrity support from Rihanna, Timbaland, Chicks on Speed, Good Charlotte, Henrik Vibskov, Jade Jagger, Katharine Hamnett, My Chemical Romance, Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters, The Cardigans, Tiga and Ziggy Marley and more from the worlds of fashion, music, and art. The campaign hopes to help spread further awareness about HIV and AIDS.
“Fashion Against AIDS” will be available by February 2008 in H&M stores.

On Thursday in New York City, designer Roberto Cavalli and model Jessica Stam made a special appearance at the H&M New York flagship store on Fifth Avenue for the launch of his limited edition collection at H&M. The strong demand for the party collection, which includes a selection of Roberto Cavalli’s favorite pieces for men and women, proves once more that design and quality are not a matter of price.

Lindsay Lohan did a little shopping earlier in the week at H&M in Los Angeles. A little shopping spree is all it takes to put us in a better mood - especially when we’ve turned our back on a million dollar deal to host a New Year’s Eve party at LAX - which is reportedly the largest sum ever paid for a one night stand. Ah well, the good news is it looks like Lindsay may actually be sticking to her sobriety.
Hopefully she picked up some good deals on her shopping trip - she could use an image update and a fresh start.

Roberto Cavalli has just released his wild side - in hot, prowling animal prints that is, and made them exclusively for H&M.
Cavalli, known for his extravagant, perfectly-flattering, sensual rock star style, has built a collection around his favorite pieces throughout the years - and at H&M prices, you don’t have to be a rock star to afford them!
I have a feeling this collection is going to fly off the racks so pounce on your pieces before the frenzy begins! What you say? No H&M near you? Click here to visit the official H&M website - and get your prowl on!
