Jennifer Garner is a squeaky clean, girl and mom next door in her real life. But in her new ad for Neutrogena, she alludes to having been a bad girl at least once in her lifetime. You can see the commercial right here (scroll down a bit) where she says, “Every girl has a past when she did some things that maybe she shouldn’t, but I say, ‘No one ever has to know.’ Me? A bad girl? Never!”

Jennifer Garner appears on the cover and between the pages of the January issue Elle Canada. I’ll admit, I’m not a huge fan of most of Garner’s films, but she always looks great in that clean, fresh-faced way and while some may say she’s far from being a fashion icon, I’d have to disagree. She may not have that in-your-face style, but I think that’s because she’s more of a subtle beauty, refined and classy. It’s no wonder Glamour magazine named her one of the “Women of the Year” for 2007. It’s truly a title she deserves. Unfortunately, the airbrushing on the cover isn’t up to par and doesn’t do her justice.
In the interview with Elle, Garner gushes on motherhood and fashion:
Jennifer on her favorite style icons:
“Coco Chanel and Cate Blanchett.”
Jennifer on her favorite go-to designers:
“Marc Jacobs and Derek Lam, and I love Stella McCartney!”
Jennifer on her fashion weakness:
“I have a real issue with Stella’s coats. I’m so glad I’ll be in New York for part of the winter because I can at least validate my Stella McCartney purchases.”
Jennifer on her favorite beauty must-have:
“Neutrogena lip balm.”
On motherhood:
“Motherhood changes you. Missing out on that would be something I couldn’t bear.”
Jennifer on her philosophy of life:
“Happiness is your own responsibility.”
In case you missed it, Jennifer Garner graces December’s issue of Glamour magazine’s “Women of the Year” issue. The “Women of the Year” event was held on November 5th at Lincoln Center. Other honorees were Nobel-prize winning novelist Toni Morrison and golfer Lorena Ochoa, while Abigail Breslin was named Glamour’s “Girl of the Year.”
Earlier this year, Victoria Beckham was named UK Glamour magazine “Woman of the Year.”

Honestly, Jennifer Garner is one of those people who shows you why a basic black dress never goes out of style. She’s totally channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn with this simple but gorgeous look in Paris.
I know some people think of Jennifer Garner as sort of plain (though I think she’s beautiful). Her new photoshoot for an upcoming Marie Claire may change a lot of opinions. She’s looking smokin’ hot!
