Leighton Meester needs to raid the Gossip Girl closet
I love Leighton Meester, and I love her Gossip Girl character Blair Waldorf too. But someone really needs to encourage Leighton to sneak on to the set and raid Blair’s closet. Because really, why is she wearing a striped silver shorts suit? Seriously, she looks gorgeous from the neck up, but that outfit is blinding me.
Also, why did she wear that to a bowling alley on her date with her boyfriend? Can you imagine what that outfit looked like when paired with those rental bowling shoes?
Leighton Meester gets Lucky
Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is on the cover of Lucky magazine this month. Inside she says that she loves her life right now – and who wouldn’t? “Lucky” indeed. She was also asked who her favorite designer is, but she played it low-key:
“I’m more a normal person than, like, a fashion girl. For everyday, I like Fluxus—it’s really soft. I really like Foley & Corinna; they do a good mix of vintage and new.”

It was like Gossip Girls all over again with Leighton Meester and Michelle Trachtenberg at the opening for the new two-story Chanel store in Hollywood. I think they do their characters proud in their chic and stylish fashion choices.

Leighton Meester looked absolutely FABULOUS at the Christian Dior Cruise 2009 Collection. This shade of green really suits her and she looks completely gorgeous.
Gossip Girl has done a lot for her – I’ll bet that a year or two ago she never would have been able to really imagine herself at all these high fashion galas and showings. She definitely looks the part!
