After all the buzz about Lindsay Lohan and her nude Marilyn Monroe-esque photoshoot, her mother and manager Dina Lohan told People that she approved of the somewhat risque photos and that she felt they were very tastefully done.

“I respect the photographer as an artist, so I look at them artistically. For him to call Lindsay 46 years later and to say can you recreate these photos is an honor. I looked at it as art, and as Lindsay doing a character. So I don’t look at them like it’s Playboy; she was being a character. So if you look at it that way, you can look at it as a mother.”

Going along with the previous post about Lindsay Lohan trying to pull off a Marilyn Monroe photoshoot, here’s the actual cover of the magazine.

I must confess, that’s not bad. She’s still no Marilyn, not by a long shot, but it’s one of the better LiLo shots I’ve seen to date.

Lindsay Lohan is definitely back in the swing of things, attending all the must-see events, so she was on Rodeo Drive for the re-opening of Fendi. I’m not sure what to say about her choice of dress.

Lindsay Lohan is on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar and it seems that she’s not done with the partying yet:

On still having the need to party: “I have it in me to go, go, go. I’m still young. I love life. I love music and being around that. I love people, and I’m a very social person.”

Lindsay Lohan spent some time and money at Marc Jacobs on Melrose, buying several items.

Lately Lindsay Lohan is almost always seen toting around her Jimmy Choo Carolina Oversized Clutch as she prances around New York City. The purse features black eel skin with water snake leather. It’s closed up with both a zipper and a gold clasp, and can be used as is or with a removable chain link strap.

Lindsay Lohan has done an excellent job of laying low and not partying it up, apparently taking her rehab time seriously, which I think is *wonderful* and I hope it continues. However, that doesn’t mean she has to avoid some great sales, so she spent Black Friday shopping like a demon at the Armani Exchange on 5th Avenue with her mom and sister.
