Madonna showed up for the premiere of Filth and Wisdom, her first attempt at directing, looking like a real gunslinger in her Chanel stilettos - which have mini pistols for heels! Trust Madonna to find something edgy. I don’t know if I’d actually wear them, but I definitely think they’re awesome. What do you think of Madonna’s pistol heels?

Have you watched Madonna’s style evolve from one year to the next? Do you remember her wild “Like A Virgin” outfits? Her sleek pink gown in “Material Girl”? The cone bustier? The dark brown hair? The suits?

You’d think someone as rich as Madonna could afford to keep the dreaded root syndrome from showing up. Unless she’s trying to bring back the “two inches of dark roots” look as the latest style again. I hope not. That wasn’t a good idea the first time around, it won’t be any better now.
Actually, I kind of wish she’d just go back to brown like when she did “Like A Prayer”. That was a pretty good look for her.

Madonna auctioned off her black alligator handbag by Chanel for the amfAR AIDS benefit. The diamond-studded purse brought in $471,000. She had actually brought the purse with her and although she removed and kept her blackberry and phone, she let the winner keep everything else inside, including some blotting papers, lip gloss, a mirror, and lozenges.
When someone commented that her bag crushed George Clooney’s $300,000 kiss last year, Madonna joked that it was because that was “cheap. Everyone’s kissed George Clooney.”
I can’t help but wish my lifestyle included the ability to buy a $400K Chanel bag for charity! Would you buy Madonna’s purse if you could afford it?

Madonna is still smokin’ hot at 50, there’s no denying it. But what the hell was she thinking with this incredibly ugly dress on the red carpet at Cannes? YUCK.

It seems everyone in Hollywood has been voicing an opinion about the Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair “Topless” scandal. No one was quite as hilarious as Madonna who used a bit of sarcasm and said, “Leave her alone. She’s gonna be 16 soon and then 17 and then 18, and then she might show her knees and then what’s gonna happen?”
God I love Madonna.

I know Madonna’s no spring chicken and she can’t walk around all the time in outfits like the ones she wears in her videos or on the cover of Hard Candy. Still, this is just a little old for the spirit she gives off don’t you think? It may be Gucci but it still ain’t pretty.
(Nice boots though, I’ll give her that!)

Now that Madonna has a successful clothing line with H&M, she’s moving on from affordable to high end - she’s working with Swiss designer Chopard. The new team has created a knuckle ring spelling out “M-Dolla” in diamonds, and diamond cross necklaces similar to the one she wears on her Hard Candy cover. With the cross starting at $6710, it’s not a line for those of us with small bank accounts.
Would you wear a giant diamond-studded “M-Dolla” knuckle ring?
