How many men do you think would be ecstatic if Mariah Carey showed up like this, dressed as a sexy firefighter, at their homes to save them? Except I’m not sure if she could do much to help - in this skimpy outfit she’s more likely to start some fires rather than put them out!

Mariah Carey is showing off her great new body on the cover of the August issue of Elle magazine (though I thought she looked great before anyway!). Inside she talks about how she got (more) fit, her love life, and her new album.
Highlights?
On her unhappy past: “When I was in an unhappy place in my life, I always wanted to be kidnapped. I just wanted a way out, but didn’t have one.”
On Nick Cannon saving her: “He sort of kidnapped me and took me on a helicopter ride. Then he re-proposed. (His first proposal had taken place on Mariah’s roof in Manhattan a couple of evenings prior and involved the hiding of a 17-carat diamond ring inside a candy ring pop.) They’ve been calling me Cinderella since I first started out, so, of course, being Cinderella… Most people would think, Okay, please! This doesn’t happen in real life.”
On keeping her and Nicks’ romantic involvement on the down low: “We really kept the whole relationship aspect of it quiet. Therefore, we didn’t really ‘date,’ you know what I mean? Because that would have been not quiet or private. I think we didn’t want to give people a chance to be like, ‘What are you doing? What are you talking about? This is so quick… are you sure?”
On her racial ambiguity naturally attracting her to Barack Obama as a presidential candidate: “I can relate a lot to so many of the stories he tells. Clearly I am not the political analyst of the ages, but this is something that hits me on a deeper level than anything I’ve ever experienced growing up… I would be honored if he wanted me to be involved in any way. Right now I’m kind of watching from the sidelines.”

After the success of M by Mariah last year, Mariah Carey has decided it’s time to launch her second fragrance, Luscious Pink. The new perfume will combine a blend of scents from the Tahitian tiare flower, lily of the valley, pink peony, and white musk. She describes it as “an ethereal scent that reflects the delicately sensual, feminine and optimistic side of me that is so present today in my music, my fragrance and my life.”
Okay, I know it’s Mariah Carey and I know she’s a big diva. I know we always see her in mini skirts and sky-high heels. But if you’re going to step onto a baseball field to throw out the first pitch in a game, that is the time to DITCH the heels and put on some appropriate shoes. Also, you can probably trade in the belly-baring shirt for a team shirt perhaps.

She looks like a complete and total idiot. If you can’t lose the heels for even ten minutes, stay off the damn field. Also, has anyone told Mariah she’s not 16 anymore and that although she has a fantastic body she’s starting to look like an old hooker in her outfits lately?
I wonder how many people in the stadium were laughing.
Mariah Carey was at Macy’s in Glendale yesterday for the launch of her new fragrance, “M” by Mariah. I happen to have received a bottle not too long ago, and while I think it smells pretty good, it’s a little on the strong side, so a little really does go a long way. A 3.3 ounce bottle retails for 62.50 at Macy’s.

Mariah Carey was at Macy’s on Tuesday in NYC to launch her new perfume, “M by Mariah Carey”. Mariah was on The View and stated that the only perfume she has ever liked was her own. I hope it’s damn good since the first 200 customers were able to buy it for $130 - and that was a SPECIAL price. Sheesh.

Mariah Carey will be at Macy’s Department Store in Herald Square, at 34th Street and Broadway, in New York City, on Tuesday September 25th, to sign bottles of her new fragrance, “M By Mariah Carey.”
