In Hollywood it is almost impossible to keep anything a secret anymore. Word leaks out and the whole world knows who’s dating, who’s splitting, who’s feuding. So with that in mind, not only do I offer congratulations to model Paloma Jimenez and actor Vin Diesel on the birth of their first baby, I must give huge kudos to the couple for their secrecy - because although it’s not June, their little girl was actually born on April 2nd and no one knew until now.

That is amazing to me that word did not get out until two months after the fact. Good for them!

Models.com has named supermodel Heidi Klum the sexiest model overall, even managing to beat out Gisele Bundchen.

When asked how she felt about her new title, Heidi said:

“It felt great, especially after having three children. It’s brilliant for all mums because women sometimes worry whether they can still be sexy after having kids or how they’re going to be perceived by people for being a mum.
I had employers who thought if I had a child I wouldn’t fit in the sexiest women category any more. But I think it’s different these days.”

According to Janet Charlton, staffers over at America’s Next Top Model are peeved that their boss, Tyra Banks, didn’t give them any Christmas gifts this year - even though they moved from Los Angeles to New York for Banks and the show. 

Charlton claims that while Tyra managed to negotiate a 30 million dollar deal, she only gave employees a ”modest” holiday party, which was held at a ”lower east side dive bar and her employees drank a lot because there was no food.”

Charlton also goes on to say in her blog:

Tyra arrived for a brief stop, looking like a million bucks, and said she was on her way to Italy. Before she left, she told them “I want to thank you guys for working so hard - I have a special guest - here’s Santa!” Everybody ran to Santa’s big bag and found it was full of limp McDonald’s cheeseburgers! Employees got cheeseburgers for Christmas! 

Former supermodel Niki Taylor and model-turned-movie hunk Tyson Beckford will be hosting a new reality show on Bravo called, “Make Me A Supermodel,” where men and women will vie for an agency contract. The series is scheduled to premiere on January 1oth, however a special airing of the show on January 2nd is the official kick-off, where 24 contestants will be whittled down to just 14.

Over a 12 week peried, viewers of the show will have the chance to vote for each of the 14 contestants to determine who stays and who is shown the door.  The models will all be living together in a loft in New York City.  To view more about the show, including contestant bio’s, visit Bravotv.com.

French model Alexandra Paressant has made claims that Eva Longoria’s husband, basketballer Tony Parker, slipped her his telephone number at his wedding reception in July and the two embarked on a two-month affair behind Longoria’s back. 

26 year old Paressant also says she was at the wedding, but as a guest of soccer player Thierry Henry.

Paressant told website X17 that Parker was seeing her because:

“Eva, sexually speaking, does not want to do certain things. She do [sic] not want to make love in front of a mirror, does not like certain position[sic] and thinks that sperm gives acne.”

And the model even claims Parker showed her around the mansion that he and Eva are building in San Antonio, Texas.

In the meantime, both Parker and Longoria have released a statement to People.com in which they state the allegations are abslutely false:

I love my wife,” Parker said in a statement to PEOPLE. “She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.” Longoria, who took Parker’s name this year after their July nuptials, added, “Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband.”

Maybelline New York just announced that supermodel Jessica White will be the new face of the product. White joins Maybelline New York’s prestigious roster, which includes Christy Turlington, Erin Wasson, Adriana Lima, Tomiko Fraser, Julia Stegner, and Zhang Ziyi.

Often referred to as “The New Iman,” Jessica’s big break came in 2003 when she was chosen for Sports Illustrated’s famed Swimsuit issue and then followed up by modeling in the next four successive issues.  In 2006, she appeared on the catwalk of the famed Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.  Jessica also appeared in the movie “Big Momma’s House 2″ as well as a music video for singer John Legend and rapper Jay-Z.

Jessica will make her television and print debut for Maybelline New York in February, 2008.

The first supermodel ever, Janice Dickinson, has recently blasted Hollywood actresses for taking big promotional campaigns and oportunities away from real models.

The 52-year-old Dickinson recently said that the days of the supermodel are over, citing there will never be any more true supermodels because big celebrities are given all the best contracts and in doing so, the practice is destroying the industry:

“The industry has died as far as modelling has gone. Magazines are featuring the Halle Berrys and Sarah Jessica Parkers, all the actresses. Make-up companies are featuring all the celebrities. All the models have died.”
