Will.i.am Fills In For Kanye at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Follwing the death of his mother, Donda West last weekend, Kanye West has canceled his performance at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and has been replaced by Black Eyed Peas singer, Will.i.am.

The show, which is scheduled to air December 4th on CBS, is currently being taped at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. The Spice Girls are scheduled to make their debut reunion performance on the show.

West’s mother, Donda West, 58, died Saturday night at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center in Marina del Rey after she stopped breathing. She had undergone cosmetic surgery Friday in Los Angeles and had gone home. The coroner’s office said that although an autopsy had been conducted, an official cause of death won’t be made for at least another month, pending further tests.

B.E.P’s Will.i.am is teaming up with the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino to create a new collection uniforms for it’s staff.“My goal was to create a look that exudes upscale rock ‘n roll, leveraging the essence of the brand while contemporizing the staff’s wardrobe to provide a more stylistic and fashion-forward appearance,” Will said in a statement.

Black Eyed Peas will.i.am To Design i.am Antik Denim Line

Black Eyed Peas founder and producer will.i.am, a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (Best Known as FIDM) in Los Angeles will design a denim line of fashions, entitled i.am.Antik, to hit America’s swakest department stores in August.

“I want to design the line and score it the way a composer scores a film and tour the collection like a band will tour an album,” Will said. “I want to make a fresh stylistic collection that everyone wants but limited and special to keep them looking for more.”
