Roberto Cavalli has recently announced the launch of a new selection of wines.

Called the Cavalli Collection and Cavalli Selection, the wines are blends of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouchet and Petit Verdot, all produced from grapes grown by the Cavalli family in the Chianti region of Tuscany.

The wines are scheduled to be ready for retail sometime next year and will be served up in leopard-printed bottles.  The first 5,000 bottles of eight year matured Cavalli wine will be distributed in Tuscany before launching in the UK, Switzerland, Germany and the US.
