Christina Applegate is the latest celeb to get naked for PETA and this season she has a message for holiday shoppers:

“Cross cruelty off your shopping list by avoiding fur coats, collars and cuffs (unless it’s fake, of course).”

Recently, Christina had a sit down with the PETA folks and touted the benefits of synthetic fur instead of the real thing:

“They make really great synthetic fur—you really don’t need real fur. And it’s cheaper, so why spend the money? The holidays are also a time when people freak out about their finances. If you don’t want to spend the money, why not try some of the other options instead of killing a bunch of animals?”
