College Student Designs Wedding Gown From Jimmy John’s Sandwich Wrappers!
Forget Vera Wang — we’ve got the latest invention in wedding gowns, a dress made entirely of Jimmy John’s sandwich wrappers!
Kirk Smith took top honors for his collection made exclusively from food packing at North Carolina State University’s 2010 Art to Wear Fashion Show on April 14! Smith, a food science major (Similar to Culinary Arts?) at NC State, was the only student without ties to the College of Design or Textiles to enter this year’s competition, but he managed to wow judges with this gown constructed from wrappers from the popular gourmet sandwich chain.
And what bride wouldn’t want to tie the knot in a wedding gown made from Jimmy John’s wrappers?
