Diane Von Furstenberg Injured In Skiing Accident
Fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg is nursing a broken nose and facial fractures following a skiing accident in Aspen earlier this month.
The high-end style guru, 64, was on vacation with her businessman husband, Barry Diller, when she collided with another skier on the slopes.
“Barry and I were skiing happily. Some Brazilian man, who could not ski, lost control and went straight at me, hitting me badly on my face and ribs with his camera. I look like Mike Tyson on his worst fight. I guess it could have been worse… but it does not look pretty,” Von Furstenberg tells Women’s Wear Daily Wednesday.
After being seen at a nearby medical center, Diane was airlifted to Ronald Reagan/UCLA Medical Center in nearby Los Angeles and later released.
