There was a lot of buzz about Drew Barrymore at the Golden Globes last night, most of it bad.

Not too many people were thrilled with her decision to try to copycat a Marilyn Monroe look on the red carpet.

I’m split down the middle about her look. On the one hand, I really do like the icy blue Haute Couture Dior dress that she wore. It’s the hair. If she had done the gown without teasing her hair into oblivion, then I think it would have been perfect but the hairstyle makes it obvious that a)she’s trying to look like Marilyn and b)not really pulling it off.

Yes? No?

    I’d say it’s more Angie Dickenson, than Marilyn, but at any rate; it is a bit mature for her. Maybe she was giving us a little preview of her next movie.
