Canadian Idol winner from last season, Eve Avila (who is awesome, by the way), will be the first Canadian face for Maybelline cosmetics. She will be representing the brand for Maybelline New York. She started the makeup gig with a photo shoot with Teen Glow Magazine. Despite hours and hours of having her makeup done for photos, videos, and live performances, she says that she still enjoys it.

“It’s very therapeutic,” she said. “It makes you feel good as a woman. Getting made up is very, very good and its good for the self esteem.”
