Frida Kahlo line
In possibly the weirdest style news of late, a Frida Kahlo line of makeup and lotions has been launched in Staten Island. Frida was a fantastic Mexican painter and apparently she somehow inspired the line even though she died in 1954. The Kahlo family finally granted her name and image rights to Naturals Skin Care who had approached them in hopes of creating the line.
The CEO of the company read some of her letters and journals for inspiration and said that apparently Frida herself was into aromatherapy and created her own makeup and lotions by playing around.
