Givenchy has broken ground for high-end fashion lines by placing a transsexual model in the ad campaign for its Fall collection.

Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci has cast a transsexual model in the fashion house’s Autumn/Winter promo campaign, Women’s Wear Daily reports. Lea T., formerly known as Leo, is also Tisci’s longtime personal assistant and former fit model.

The ads were shot by famed fashion photogs Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in a Paris studio earlier this year.
