Glamour Magazine’s “plus-size” model gets people talking!

Glamour magazine has everyone talking after they posted a “plus-size” model on one of their pages!
The photo shows the woman sitting in nothing but a pair of tiny underwear, with a little belly overhang. It accompanies an article on positive body image, explaining all the things that no one else – no one but you – sees about your body.
To me, this woman isn’t truly plus-size, she’s just an average woman. It just so happens that she’s in a magazine where the women you normally see are all a size 2 at most, size 0 more frequently, and she was neither camouflaged nor thinned with Photoshop. It keeps her real, like anyone else that you might see or know – or it might be YOU.
I’m glad to see a real, non-airbrushed, non-Photoshopped woman in the pages of a major fashion magazine.
What do you think?

I dont think she’s plussize at all. She looks gorgeous and even skinny. It’s just that she has a littly tummy fat, which is real feminine. So I dont see why someone would make a fuss about this.

Carl, if you read what I actually wrote, I very clearly stated that no – I don’t think she’s plus-sized at all. More precisely, I said:

There’s a reason I kept putting the term in quotes.
