Hamilton Presents “Behind The Camera” Awards
Last night in Hollywood, 9 film-makers were honored by Hamilton watches and Hollywood Life magazine at the “Hamilton Behind the Camera” awards. This annual event aimed at recognizing amazing talents that bring forth creativity and originality to ensure the success of film, was first created in 2003, and originally honored only costume designers, but they’ve caught up and now offer a full array of categories, recognizing the collaborative behind the camera and the resulting emotional and visual impact to movie-goers.
Presenting the awards were Jodie Foster, Charlie Kaufman, James Woods, Seth Rogan and Rainn Wilson. The award for costume designer went to Colleen Atwood for her work in the film, ”Sweeney Todd.”
Hamilton was founded in 1892 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The first film featuring a Hamilton watch was the Academy Award nominated film, “The Frogmen” (1951). Hamilton is a member of the Swatch Group, the world’s largest watch producer and distributor, with 157 production sites in Switzerland.
Published for 20 years and with a circulation of 204,000, ”Hollywood Life” magazine is offered up 6 times each year and is a great resource for fashion, beauty and pop culture. The magazine is known for its ”Young Hollywood Awards,” “Breakthrough Awards” and “Hollywood Style Awards.”
