Hayden Panettiere has a new single coming out this summer (”Wake Up Call”) and she’s going to get some mega promotion by having it heavily featured in a new Candie’s ad campaign. It can be dangerous to have your song in an ad - sometimes it can backfire and no one wants to hear the song anymore after they associate it with a product (look at that otherwise great song that makes everyone immediately think of Pantene shampoos). On the other hand, it didn’t hurt Madonna with “Four Minutes”. Of course, it’s Madonna.
Do you think having a song in an ad campaign will help or hurt Hayden Panettiere?
