Despite the heavy criticism and shameless mocking from people all over the Internet, Heidi Montag thinks that the night of the Miss Universe pageant was the best night of her life. Wow.

She took to her Twitter account and said, “Last night was one of the best nights of my life!!!! I had so much fun! My first performance. Thank you God!” Later she also made a shout-out to Perez Hilton, telling him, “I had so much fun! It only goes up from here!”

Perhaps the best part of all is that she drew comparisons between herself and Britney Spears. In describing her hopes and ambitions, Heidi said, “I grew up watching Britney Spears. That’s someone I inspire to be, you know, like, career wise. I think the world is ready for the next pop star and I’m ready to be the next pop galaxy, so here we go.”

Oh dear. Heidi, we all SAW YOU. I really think that Britney can rest easy, knowing she won’t be losing her pop princess crown anytime soon! Can’t Heidi just go back to designing cute and affordable clothing?
