Jaden & Willow Smith Clothing Line In The Works

Jaden and Willow Smith — the celebutot’s of film/TV star Will Smith and his actress wife Jada — are definitely pretty stylin’ — so it’s no surprise that they’re angling to score their own clothing line!

Jaden, the cute-as-a-button 12-year-old who stars in the new remake of The Karate Kid, and nine-year-old sister Willow, have been working with Rihanna’s stylist Mariel Haenn, who dishes that The Smith Clan hopes to land a clothing deal for the tweens.

“We make an effort to give Willow her own style, so as not to be a mini-version of Rihanna, but Willow really knows what she likes and what she doesn’t like, and she’s vocal about it,” Mariel says. “[Their mom Jada Pinkett-Smith] said upfront that she didn’t want us to dress them like standard kids, like with Sesame Street t-shirts. And the kids really like dressing as adults and hope that adults will want to dress like them.”

She adds: “But Jada will put her foot down if there’s something she doesn’t like, though if the kids really love it, she’ll usually let it pass.”

We love it how Mariel has given Willow her own brand of edgy Rihanna-type style – but she still looks like a cute, age-appropriate nine-year-old. Miley and Noah Cyrus, take notes!

“With Rihanna, pretty soon after she came on the scene, you started seeing designers from Forever 21 to Gucci coming out with styles mimicking her look. We hope the same thing happens here, but I think the ultimate goal is for Willow and Jaden to have their own line.”
