Jean-Paul Gaultier Target Collection Debuts March 2009
Mark your fashion calendars and break out your cone-bra corsets! Jean-Paul Gaultier is putting together a cheap but chic collection for Target, set to debut March 7, 2010! Gaultier, the creative director at Hermes known for her often racy avant garde designs, is the third guest designer in Target’s Designer Collaborations series, following Anna Sui’s Gossip Girl-esque collection last month and a line by Alexander McQueen last spring.
Betcha didn’t know he designed the now infamous cone-bra corsets for Madonna’s Blond Ambition tour in 1990!

The Gaultier Target Collection “pays tribute to the American woman, celebrating the forces of style both past and present in American pop culture. I don’t really like tiny models….Generally, I like healthy women. Diversity is key and I realize that is my future clientele,” Gaultier explains.
The collection will be available in 250 Target stores across the country and online through April 11, according to Glamour.com.
