Jessica Simpson is all smiles on the cover of the new issue of Glamour magazine. Inside, she talks about her country album she’s recording in Nashville, the tabloids and harsh comments about her on blogs, and her acting. However, she talks even more about how in love she is with boyfriend and quarterback Tony Romo.

She mentions that he helped her to remember who Jessica Simpson really is and that all she ever has to be is herself:

He reintroduced me to myself. I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date. [I thought] I had to be more intellectual. Come on–just be yourself! Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again.

Her full interview is over here. She’s gotten a lot of bad press for being an airhead and I’ve laughed a lot but honestly she just sounds so cute and real in the interview, like she’s that normal girl who would be a lot of fun to hang out with.
