High-end footwear designer Jimmy Choo has turned into a sneaker head! The famous brand is lending its name to a line of athletic shoes debuting this Spring.

The shoe designer – whose high heeled creations are loved by celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham – is developing a comfortable collection of high-tops priced at $625.

The shoes go on sale in May, and are accented with gold eyelets and star-print soles.

It is not the first time Jimmy Choo has expanded its brand – late last year, the company announced that it will be teaming up with UGG Australia to create a new range of women’s sheepskin footwear.
