Although Kate Gosselin was set to create a clothing line with Healthtex, it’s been indefinitely postponed due to changes in her life – namely her upcoming divorce and the hiatus of the show that made her a “celebrity” of sorts, Jon and Kate Plus Eight.

Healthtex made it clear that this postponement is not a punishment, but rather it’s to give her time to deal with more important things in her life right now. A rep said, “Our project is on hold while she focuses on her family.”

Although the Fall season line will still be available at Wal-Mart, Kate herself is not involved in the project.

Kate’s plans are really collapsing all around her – even her cookbook Love is in the Mix has been put on hold despite the fact that it was meant to be on bookstore shelves in November. I guess you can’t sell a book all about family love when the family is falling apart.
