Katie Holmes has become the new face of Miu Miu and is featured in a couple of new ads from their latest campaign.

The photos are pretty dramatic, yes? I particularly like the one with her hand in the flame, very interesting!

She looks a bit robotically androgynous to me though, in a Blade Runner kind of way. I’m not sure if I like it or not, I like her hair more loose than this, but they’re definitely eye catching.

Miu Miu also released a statement about Katie joining the campaign:

“Katie Holmes joins the ever-expanding living history of Miu Miu inspirations, vital and modern individuals that shape and alter their surroundings through powerful grace. [She] portrays a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality. ”
