Katie Holmes has a solid grip on her own sense of style. Not everyone loves everything she wears, but she always stands by her choices, which is why she’s launching a fashion line this fall.

First Katie practiced by giving input and working with designers to make some clothing for premieres that she loved – such as her dress at the Tropic Thunder premiere.

After the trial runs, she’s ready for her own line and she’ll be working with designer Jeanne Yang to create and launch a new fashion line that will be ready for purchase this coming Fall season. It will combine classic style pieces and even has a children’s collection – something that’s not much of a surprise if you’ve ever seen how dressed up Suri Cruise often is!

Will you check out Katie’s line? I’m not sure I’ll be interested in buying the clothing (and it’s probably out of my price range) but I’m excited to see what it looks like!
