The after-party for the Costume Institute Gala got exciting when a drunken Kiefer Sutherland head-butted designer Jack McCollough for knocking Brooke Shields over.

Kiefer smacked the guy in the face hard enough to break his nose. Meanwhile – strangely enough – Brooke Shields is denying that she was ever knocked over at all, despite the fact that witnesses say it happened. When Kiefer insisted that Jack apologize to the model, Jack retaliated by smashing his skull into the designer’s face.

I don’t know why Brooke is denying it, maybe she just doesn’t really want to be associated with the craziness of this story.

Maybe Kiefer wasn’t just drunk. Maybe he got confused and thought he was on set and slipped into Jack Bauer mode.
