After filming the new “Sex and the City” movie, actress Kim Cattrall gave the furs her character wore in the film to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). According to E! Online’s PlanetGossip, the animal-rights group will distribute the coats to the homeless.  

A spokesman for PETA says:

“The only people who can be excused for wearing fur are the homeless – to keep warm during the winter.”
