Lady GaGa may not be my favorite singer but there’s no denying that everyone is always eager to see what crazy thing she’ll wear next.

LG showed up at the 2009 VMAs in a black outfit that incorporated lace for the skirt and a lot of shiny black feathers around her neck.

She also had a feather piece around her left eye and a large black hate. Pretty standard for Lady GaGa, really.

Later she accepted an award in an outfit that was actually quite tame – for her!. She wore a silvery one-shouldered bodysuit.

Of course, her other outfits were quite insane. There was the totally bizarre red outfit with a lace hat that completely covered her face which looked like a rooster gone wrong. Then there was the hilarious-yet-stupid … I don’t even know. Straw collar? She reminded me of the scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. I can’t believe how few photos there are of it, but I’ll grab some when they’re available.
