It looks like Lauren Conrad is doing well with her Lauren Conrad Collection – she’s about to expand her resume to include evening wear. She’s gearing up to design a red carpet gown for the upcoming Emmy Awards for their trophy girls. No other celebrity has ever been asked to design for them before. She said, “I am so excited that the Academy has asked me to design a dress for this year’s Emmy Awards. I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist.”
