Apparently not everyone is happy with Lauren Conrad right now because she didn’t walk on the catwalk with her dog at a dog fashion show for charity to raise money for the Humane Society. Evidently, they wanted her to take part as a celebrity dog walker but Lauren didn’t strut her stuff. However, her rep denies that Lauren failed to meet her obligations:

“Lauren just wanted to help the animals. She agreed to pose for the cover of the magazine, host the event, do press at the event and donate clothing, all of which she did. We are unaware of any other commitments. Lauren continues to support the Humane Society, as it is a wonderful organization.”

The event itself was the Paws for Style show and was partially sponsored by Animal Fair magazine; the cover for their summer issue has Lauren Conrad and her dog Chloe – the dog is actually wearing an outfit that Lauren designed for her!

When Lauren was supposed to walk Chloe down the catwalk (dogwalk?), she was already long gone. The founder of Animal Fair magazine wasn’t very pleased. She was quoted as saying, “This is an event to raise money for homeless animals. It is not an event for Lauren Conrad and her assistant to party in New York at the All-Star weekend.”

Wow. Who knew there could be so much DRAMA at a dog show?!
