I guess that when you’re a successful reality TV star and fashion designer, you start looking for even more ways to explore your talent which is why Lauren Conrad is looking to try her hand at being a producer.

With her first novel L.A. Candy potentially heading to the big screen, Lauren is much more interested in helping create the adaptation in the role of a producer than she is in starring in the lead role.

A source has said, “Lauren’s goal is to get into producing – it always was. It was always to make L.A. Candy into a film or TV show. She’s been in talks about it. N[]o deal [is] in place just yet, [but] that’s her ultimate goal.”
