Lauren Conrad went from reality star to fashion designer with her Lauren Conrad Collection, and now she can officially add author to her list of accomplishments.

The other night, Lauren showed off her first book, L.A. Candy while wearing a short and sexy little black dress. Yesterday she followed up the launch with a book signing at Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles.

Lauren is going to be busy with her book tour but when she’s done she’s hoping to have the story adapted for a television show. I guess you can’t keep Lauren away from the TV!
