Lindsay Lohan at Paris Fashion Week: Fairy tale or nightmare?

Depending on who you’re asking, Lindsay Lohan’s debut at Paris Fashion Week was either a fairy tale or a total nightmare.
Right after launching her collaborative work with Ungaro, Lindsay waxed poetic about what an utter fairy tale the entire thing had been. “It’s certainly more than I could have ever imagined, more than I’d ever hoped for. I couldn’t be happier. Seeing everything pulled together, is simply amazing.”
She went on to declare how excited she’ll be to do it all again: “I can’t wait to be involved again, to be more involved on the next collections, to continue to please people, add more to the designs, to shock people…”
Unfortunately, Lindsay may have already shocked people a little too much. Many people were very much unimpressed with her design efforts, declaring the show a fashion disaster. There were multiple wardrobe malfunctions with straps falling down – or off – as well as pasties popping out of jackets.
The designs themselves were routinely referred to as tacky and dated with an overwhelming presence of heart motifs (many in sequins) and bright neon colors in shades of orange, fuchsia, and blue. One review went so far as to say, “The Emanuel Ungaro show on Sunday may go down in history as the final gasp of celebrity madness.”
I wonder if there’s already a contract in place that will allow Lindsay another chance with Ungaro. If not, she may be the only one who’s still thinking of her next design opportunities!
